The LMC has many resources to support your work with your students:

• Computers : one 32-unit PC computer lab ; two 20-unit Mac laptop mobile labs
• Space : tables, presentation area, reading sofas
• Reading materials : fiction and nonfiction books, magazines, audio-books, picture books, reference books, encyclopedias
• Expertise : a certified teacher-librarian - ME! I welcome opportunities to help with finding resources (both print and electronic) and collaborating on lessons

Use of LMC During TA (2nd Period)

Students are expected to participate in Silent Sustained Reading for about 20 minutes during their TA classes Monday through Thursday. Students are encouraged to use the library before or after school to find appropriate reading material for themselves. At their teachers' discretion, students (one at a time from each class, please!) may come to the LMC to check out a book or magazine during TA.
